As growing interest in Korean Medicine and expansion in global research and development is emphasizing the importance of evaluating safety and effectiveness of Korean Medicine, the Institute of Safety and Effectiveness Evaluation for Korean Medicine (ISEE) aims to be established as a specialized research institute that analyzes and performs basic clinical research planning, education, and analyzing results and performances, conducts policy design and cooperative exchange programs. We aim to contribute to the development of Korean Medicine and the promotion of public health through conducting basic clinical research to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Korean Medicine, collecting related data and cases, performing professional research, and training professional researchers. · Supporting design/conduct/analysis of clinical research in Korean Medicine· Supporting new drug development with Investigational New Drug Application· Function as the intermediary institute for providing collaborative opportunities between basic clinical research· Training researchers for clinical research
· Supporting continuous collection and database construction of data related to safety and effectiveness of Korean Medicine· Organizing conferences and seminars on safety and effectiveness of Korean Medicine
· Promoting globalization and research communication with foreign institutions related to safety and effectiveness of Korean Medicine· Providing organic cooperation with institutions related to safety and effectiveness of Korean Medicine· Developing Korean Medicine policy research with safety and effectiveness data
· Conducting other projects to achieve the objectives of the ISEE
