Department of Clinical Research of Korean Medicine
In the Dept. of Diagnostics and Biofunctional medicine, we work together with students in doctoral and master's course for evaluating the state of human body quantitatively, and providing the according management and treatment.
We have developed a machine for pulsation which can help modernize traditional theory of pulsation. Also, we research various devices to examine human body in traditional Korean medical view.
We also have modern devices such as sphygmography and transcranial doppler to evaluate blood vessel functional condition, thermography to evaluate temperature on body surface and autonomic bioelectric response measuring instrument to evaluate response in autonomic nerve.
- Biofunctional Medicine
- Clinical study using pulse wave test, second derivative of photoplethysmogram (SDPTG), and pulse wave velocity(PWV)
- Clinical study using EDA, EAV, Yangdorak and skin resistance variability
- Clinical study using visual devices such as thermography, moire and transcranial doppler
- Clinical study using blood evaluation
- Study of Quantification and objectification of traditional Korean medical pattern identification
- Study of anti-aging and health enhancement
- Database for clinical information
